Crown Forces Prepare to Depart Iraq

The operations in Iraq have provided plenty of controversy and debate, both in the United States and abroad. Now, however, some of that debate may be about to end. As of March 31st, British forces transferred authority to American forces, thus signaling what could be the end of the Crown's presence.

Regarding "Rush to End Iraq War" the United States ought, and is obligated, to remain in Iraq until some sort of formalised withdrawal procedure has been created. The imminent departure of British troops, no later than July 31st, only gives the United States more reason to remain until a modicum of order has been restored. After all, the United States was the one that insisted on waging war in the middle east. Now, the United States must finish the job it began.
